Beet Hummus

This delicious hummus comes together in 5 minutes and is SUPER delish! Serve with your favourite veggies, crackers, or tortilla chips!

Ingredients:

  • 1 can chickpeas, rinsed and drained

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1/4 cup tahini

  • 3 tablespoons of fresh lemon juice

  • 1 teaspoon cumin

  • 2 tablespoons beet powder

  • 1 teaspoon pink salt

  • 5 tablespoons cold-pressed extra-virgin olive oil

  • 2-4 tablespoons water

Directions:

  1. Add chickpeas, garlic, tahini, lemon juice, cumin, beet powder, and salt to a food processor. Blend until smooth.

  2. While blending, slowly add in the olive oil and water until hummus is creamy and smooth.

  3. Hummus can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week. You can freeze anything you think you won't finish before then!
